BELLINGHAM, Wash. (Metro) -- The record heat that hit Western Washington over the weekend is at an end. The National Weather Service says high temperatures should be about ten degrees cooler this afternoon than they were yesterday. Bellingham set an all-time record yesterday with a high of 84 degrees. That was one degree hotter than the previous record set in 1977. Record highs were also set at Sea-Tac Airport and in Olympia. Copyright © 2012 Metro Networks Inc.
