OLYMPIA, Wash. (Metro) -- It looks like Washington residents are going to get their state sales tax deduction back next year on their federal taxes.
The Senate Finance Committee reached a compromise to revive that and other lapsed tax breaks yesterday.
"The Seattle Times" said committee member Maria Cantwell and Senator Patty Murray had made little headway on the sales tax deduction before yesterday's compromise.
