Waste Management, Striking Drivers Start Troubling Week

SEATTLE, Wash.  (Metro)  -- It may be a tough week for both Waste Management and its striking Puget Sound-area garbage and recycling truck drivers.

The company is now bringing in replacement drivers from other states, but "The Seattle Times" says it may also face heavy fines from Seattle starting Wednesday for failing to honor its contract.

Waste Management has told Channel Five that it will focus on commercial customers for now.
