Driver Killed When Truck Falls Off SR 20



SKAGIT COUNTY, Wash.  (Metro)  -- Washington Highway Patrol says a man is dead after the pickup truck he was driving plummeted down an embankment off State Route 20 in Skagit County. 

Troopers say the truck traveled about 250 ft. down the embankment before coming to rest yesterday afternoon. 

Police say the driver was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene. 

A woman who was a passenger in the truck is in a hospital, but there's no word on her condition.
