Ferndale Man Drives Over 13 Year Old Twice

FERNDALE, Wash. -- Ferndale man is charged with assault with a deadly weapon and hit and run for driving over a 13-year-old boy twice.

Court documents say on June 15, 27-year-old Keith Miller backed his Ford Expedition over the midsection of the boy then ran over him again after something was thrown at his vehicle.

Witnesses told police Miller said the child deserved it.

Three people were in the vehicle at the time of the incident and say miller stopped the vehicle after something hit his car, turned around and drove toward a group of children.

The boy suffered a broken ankle, scrapes and bruises.

Miller is held on $250,000 bail.

He could face 20 years to life if convicted.
