D.B. Cooper Exhibit To Open At State History Museum

TACOMA, Wash.  (Metro)  -- The Northwest's D.B. Cooper legend just won't die.

Channel 13 reports that the Washington State History Museum in Tacoma will open a special exhibit on the famous skyjacker in August.

Cooper hijacked a Northwest Airlines Portland to Seattle flight on November 24, 1971.

The plane picked up $200,000 in ransom money in Seattle, and Cooper later parachuted out of the plane with the money over Southwest Washington.

Some of the money was later found, but Cooper was not.
