New Polls Conflict Sharply On Washington Governor's Race

SEATTLE, Wash.  (Metro)  -- Two new polls differ sharply about what's going on in Washington's Governor's race.

"Seattlepi.com" says a new Elway poll gives Democrat Jay Inslee a sudden and sharp boost over Republican Rob McKenna at 43 to 36 percent, but with a huge 21 percent still undecided.

On Friday, a Channel Five / SurveyUSA poll gave McKenna a 42 to 41 percent lead over Inslee.

Earlier polls gave McKenna consistent leads over Inslee.
