WASHINGTON STATE -- A steady beat of job growth continues here in Washington with over 10,000 jobs gained last month.
Employment Security Department spokeswoman Sheryl Hutchison says that gain was one of two milestones reached in June.
Hutchison says this is the second month in a row over 10,000 jobs were created.
She says 58,000 jobs have been added in the last year. Industry sectors that added the most jobs in June were professional and business services, manufacturing, leisure and hospitality, and wholesale trade.
The state's unemployment rate remained unchanged at an estimated 8.3 percent.
