Friend, Partner Calls Missing Man A Mentor

SKAGIT COUNTY, Wash. -- The man who went missing in the Skagit River on Saturday is confirmed to be 51-year-old Niall Hackett of Bellingham.

His friend and business partner Brian Steele says Hackett was an experienced fisherman...

Stelle worked with Hackett at Materials Testing and Consulting, a construction consulting firm with offices in Bellingham, Burlington and Olympia.

Steele says Hackett taught him a lot about business and was a mentor to him.

He says his thoughts and prayers go out to Hackett's wife, Terri, and his two sons.
