Whatcom County Workers Take Furlough Day On Friday

WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. (Metro) -- Whatcom County government offices will be closed this Friday.

It's the seventh of ten furlough days scheduled this year to help close the county's budget gap.

Court services and other operations will remain open on Friday.

Normal operations will resume Monday.
