Siberia Fires Affecting Puget Sound Air Quality
SEATTLE, Wash. (Metro) -- This week's haze in Puget Sound-area skies apparently isn't due to local air stagnation this time.
Meteorologists at Channel Five say it's smoke that's blown over from wildfires in Siberia.
The fires have been burning since May, some deliberately set to clear forests.
There's one plus, though.
The haze has been producing spectacular sunsets this week.
