One Initiative Reported Dead, Another Looking Good

OLYMPIA, Wash.  (Metro)  -- One initiative is dead, but another is looking good ahead of a Friday deadline for voter signatures in Olympia.

"The Olympian" says the measure to define marriage in Washington as a union between a man and a woman won't have enough signatures to make the November ballot, but "The Seattle Times" reports that the latest effort to allow charter schools in Washington probably will.
