PORT ANGELES, Wash. (Metro) -- A Sequim man accused of targeting and murdering two sex offenders is in more trouble.
Thirty-four-year-old Patrick Drum is confined to a segregated cell and may face more charges, after Clallam County Jail Superintendent Ron Sukert says he stabbed a fellow inmate doing time for failing to register as a sex offender.
Sukert says 19-year-old Joseph Recoy of Port Angeles suffered only minor puncture wounds in the incident last week.
Drum goes to trial August 6, for aggravated first-degree murder in the deaths of 56-year-old Jerry Ray and 28-year-old Gary Blanton.
