Heaviest Possible Sentence Sought For Ex-Lakewood Cop

LAKEWOOD, Wash.  (Metro)  -- Federal prosecutors will ask a judge to impose the maximum sentence on former Lakewood police officer Skeeter Timothy Manos this Friday.

That's according to "The News Tribune."  Manos was the Lakewood Police Guild's treasurer when he stole $112,000 in donations.

The money was for the families of four Lakewood police officers gunned down in Parkland in 2009.

Manos could get nearly three years in prison.
