Robbery Accomplice Could Be Released Soon

EVERETT, Wash. (Metro)  -- A 47-year-old Everett man will probably be released and return home soon, after spending more than a year locked up for his part in a deadly 2011 robbery.

Heraldnet.com reports two separate murders happened at Kevin Odneal's home.

In 2008, a man was shot to death in the driveway.

Three years later, another man was killed as he and Odneal tried to a rob a man of 12-hundred dollars.

Yesterday, a judge sentenced the convicted felon to a year and five months in prison for his part in the May 2011 incident.

Odneal pleaded guilty earlier this year to second-degree robbery and two counts of unlawful gun possession.

With credit for time already served, Odneal will likely be released from the Snohomish County jail in a week or so, according to his defense attorney.

Odneal is expected to return to the same Everett neighborhood.
