City Of Bellingham Works To Improve Downtown

BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- The City of Bellingham wants you to help “shape the future” of downtown.

Activities are scheduled throughout the summer and fall as part of the city’s “myDowntown” planning process aimed at improving the downtown area.

Darby Galligan with Planning and Community Development says the process thrives on community involvement.

Two events will be held this month.

The first is a brainstorming session for enhancements to the downtown parkade.

The second is an art tour and discussion through downtown.

For more information about the myDowntown process and details on these events visit www.cob.org/mydowntown.
