Poll: McKenna, Inslee In Statistical Dead Heat

OLYMPIA, Wash.  (Metro)  -- A new poll is indicating that Washington's gubernatorial race is now a dead heat.

The Elway Research poll of 408 voters across the state last week found 42 percent favored Republican Rob McKenna, while 40 percent gave the nod to Democrat Jay Inslee.

The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus five-percent.

A similar poll conducted in February gave McKenna a nine-point lead.
