Carly Rae Jepsen dominates the MusicMusic Video awards

Justin Bieber's protegee Carly Rae Jepsen was the big winner at Sunday's MuchMusic Video Awards in Canada, picking up three top honors.

The Canadian singer won Video of the Year for her hit track Call Me Maybe, and also picked up Most Streamed Video of the Year and UR Fave Video of the Year trophies.

Jepsen, who was signed by Bieber's manager Scooter Braun, was one of the opening acts at the Toronto show, sitting on a blue phone swing as she performed her breakthrough song. She wasn't the only one wowing the crowd -  co-hosts LMFAO performed a medley of their hit uptempo tracks.

The flamboyant band claimed the International Video of the Year - Group for Sexy and I Know It, while Bieber was named UR Fave Artist, and also won International Video of the Year by a Canadian for Boyfriend.

The Hip-Hop Video of the Year went to Drake for The Motto, while Katy Perry took home the UR Fave International Artist prize, as well as International Video of the Year - Artist for her single Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.). (MH/HR/CL)
