Missing Stanwood Teen Found, Mom Arrested

STANWOOD, Wash.  (Metro)  -- A 13-year-old Stanwood girl reportedly abducted by her mother yesterday, is back home with her father.

Police tell Q13fox.com that Karly McKay was found with her mother, Trina Anderson in Bellingham early this morning.

The girl was returned to her father and Anderson was arrested for investigation of second-degree kidnapping.

The Department of Social and Health Services recently yanked Anderson's custody of Karly.

Officers say Anderson took the girl from her father's Stanwood home yesterday afternoon and headed for the Canadian border.
