Occupy Everett Member To Challenge For Congressional Seat



EVERETT, Wash.  (Metro)  -- Mike Lapointe is challenging Rick Larsen for his seat in Congress. 

Heraldnet.com reports that Lapointe, a longtime member of "Occupy Everett" will run as the 99 Percent Party candidate in the August primary against Democrat Larsen, three Republicans and one who states no party preference. 

The top two vote getters in August will advance to the November General Election.
