Residents Bound By Tape In Home Invasion

BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- Two suspects in an early morning home invasion in the Alabama neighborhood were arrested by Bellingham police Tuesday.

This after a 21-year-old Bellingham man called 911 to report that he saw several people wearing masks inside his home in the 2800 block of Saint Clair street robbing his roommates.

Bellingham Police Spokesman Mark Young says officers were on scene in less than four minutes, and witnessed two men walking through the house ransacking drawers - one was carrying a rifle.

Young says officers chased the suspect and took him into custody after a short struggle.

The second suspect was also arrested after police broke out a garage window and held him at gun point.

Five victims were located in various rooms, all bound by tape.

Three had been assaulted by the suspects and received facial injuries.

Twenty-year-old Brandon Keck of Bellingham and 35-year-old Ananda Eichhorn of Blaine were booked into the Whatcom County Jail on suspicion of first-degree burglary, robbery and kidnapping and unlawful possession of a firearm.
