WHIDBEY ISLAND, Wash. (Metro) -- Washington's Department of Ecology says it hopes to have the sunken and damaged fishing boat Deep Sea out of Penn Cove Wednesday, if things go well.
Whidbey Island residents are worried because the boat is leaking fuel into the cove's shellfish-rich waters.
www.seattlepi.com says Penn Cove mussels are a signature food product of the area and a strong tourist attraction.
