T-Mobile Bumps Up Bellingham Jobs

BELLINGHAM, Wash. -- A major cell phone carrier's call center in Bellingham is planning to add hundreds of new jobs.

T-Mobile wants to bring on about 30 local employees each month for the next 12 months.

T-Mobile announced it was closing several call centers earlier this year, but Bellingham's call center was kept and is now being expanded.

C.J. Seitz with the Washington State Employment Security Department says T-Mobile is looking for fun and outgoing employees.

She says they also want people who are 18 and over with at least a GED, and who can work full-time on any shift.

T-Mobile is working with Worksource Whatcom to walk people through their online application process.
