Initiative To Allow Charter Schools In Washington Filed



WASHINGTON STATE  (Metro)  -- There's another attempt to allow charters schools here in Washington. 

"The Seattle Times" says the League of Education Voters has filed an initiative to try to force a fourth vote on the free, but independent public schools this fall. 

Promoters need to gather nearly 250-thousand valid voter signatures by July 6th to get their measure on the November ballot.
