A white hearse used to transport President John F. Kennedy's body following his assassination in Dallas sold at auction for $160,000, the Associated Press reports.
The 1964 Cadillac carried the bronze casket containing the body of JFK on Nov. 22, 1963, from Parkland Memorial Hospital to Dallas Love Field airport where it was flown to Washington.
President Kennedy's widow, Jacqueline, rode inside the hearse with casket, wearing her blood spattered pink Chanel suit, The Dallas Morning News reported.
Stephen Tebo, a collector and real estate developer from Boulder bought the car at an auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, the newspaper reported. Tebo owns several hundred classic cars including one owned by John Lennon.
