Man says he didn't punch his wife, a ghost did

A Wisconsin man, arrested on domestic violence charges told police it was actually a ghost that punched his wife, the Huffington Post reports.

Police responded to the call at around 8 p.m. Sunday, according to a police report, and found Michael West 41, and his wife, who told cops that her husband punched her in the face and attempted to strangle her.

When authorities pressed West about the injuries his wife sustained, he simply claimed: "A ghost did it."

Charges against West include domestic abuse, strangulation, battery, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
