Woman wins largest-ever prize on ‘Price is Right’

“The Price is Right” gave away the biggest prize in its history this week, when a contestant who said appearing on the show was on her “bucket list” won a car, valued at more than $150,000.

The winning prize: a 2014 Audi R8 Spyder convertible with a price tag of $157,300. The woman not only won the car but $10,000 in cash.

The show had some special themed weeks during 2013, host Drew Carey said, and none was as popular as “Dream Car Week.”

“We decided to bring back, just on this show, one of our dream cars,” Carey said. “We just gave away a $157,000 car!”
