‘Sons of Guns’ star arrested on rape charge

ARRESTED: This Aug. 27 booking photo released by the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office shows reality television star Will Hayden, after he was arrested in East Baton Rouge Parish on a charge accusing him of raping a child. Hayden, whose show “Sons of Guns” appeared on The Discover Channel, had been free on $150,000 bond after an Aug. 9 arrest for alleged child molestation. BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) — The Discovery Channel has canceled the reality TV show “Sons of Guns.”

The move comes after the star Will Hayden was arrested on an aggravated rape charge. Authorities in Louisiana say Hayden was arrested Tuesday on charges of raping a child.

He had already been facing child molestation charges and charges of aggravated crime against nature stemming from his arrest in August. His bond is set at $250,000.

A Discovery Channel spokeswoman says the show is being shut down because of what the network describes as the “serious and horrific nature of the charges” against Hayden.

Mariners' Willie Bloomquist (8) was left on base on the play. Cano isn't supposed to hear boos at home. It wasn't part of the deal when he signed for $240 million and 10 years in Seattle. But with the underperforming Mariners having the second-worst record in the American League, Cano's struggles have become the focus for the floundering franchise.
