Media mogul Oprah Winfrey has raised $600,000 or charity after holding what she dubbed the “biggest yard sale ever” in California.

The star sold various pieces from her homes in Hawaii, Indiana and California on Saturday, including a set of six 18th century Louis XVI armchairs with hand-embroidered details, which went for $60,000, and an enlarged print of a TV Guide magazine photo of Winfrey, which fetched $3,000 .

The funds will benefit Winfrey’s Leadership Academy for Girls in South Africa.

The “yard sale” was managed by an auction house that also released a 29-page catalog of the items up for sale.
