WWU women win exhibition opener

The Western Washington University women’s basketball team won an exhibition game at Carver Gym Monday night beating Trinity Western 89-55. Junior guard Dani Iwami had a game-high 26 points for the Vikings. Center Anna Schwecke added 16. Freshman Avery Dykstra out of Lynden Christian High School scored 12 points in her college debut.

Western opens the regular season Nov. 9th.
