WWU men’s and women’s b-ball lose close ones at Simon Fraser

The Western Washington University men’s and women’s basketball teams both opened Great Northwest Athletic Conference play with a doubleheader at Simon Fraser in Burnaby, BC Tuesday night. Both Viking teams came up short. The men lost 77-74. The women fell 64-60.

The Vikings return home for a doubleheader against Montana State Billings Saturday. The men tip off at 3:00 with the women to follow at 5:15.
