BELLINGHAM, Wash. – The Western Washington University softball team has added a game to its weekend schedule playing a makeup game against Montana State Billings on Friday at 6 pm.

The Great Northwest Athletic Conference game will be played at Porter Park in Portland, Oregon on the Concordia University campus. The game vs. the Yellowjackets is the makeup date for the March 31 game that was snowed out in Billings. WWU and MSUB played a tripleheader the prior day on March 30 in anticipation of the inclement weather.

WWU will continue with its regularly scheduled weekend road trip with doubleheaders at Saint Martin’s University in Lacey on Saturday (1 & 3 pm) and at Central Washington University in Ellensburg on Sunday (12 & 2 pm).

The Vikings are 12-26 on the season and in 7th place in the GNAC with a 6-13 league record. All nine of WWU’s remaining games will be on the road as the Vikings wrapped up the home portion of the schedule April 9 with a doubleheader against Saint Martin’s.

Check WWUVikings.com for schedule updates and results from all of WWU’s games this weekend.
