Seattle Seahawk quarterback Russell Wilson has given the team an April 15th deadline to finalize a new long-term, big-money contract. Wilson’s current deal expires after next season.
Seahawk reporter Gregg Bell from the News Tribune of Tacoma told The Zone on KPUG Wednesday, “What this deadline does is say ‘Hey I know you have Frank Clark franchise-tagged, I know you’ve got Bobby Wagner’s contract ending at the same time, I know you’d like to keep Jarran Reed, but I’m your priority.'”
