The Washington Interscholastic Activities Association has announced the new format for high school football’s state championship weekend.  The WIAA decided against returning to the Tacoma Dome, which had hosted title games since 1995.  Instead of six games in one place there will be doubleheaders at three venues on Dec. 7th.

The Class 2A and 3A games will be at Sparks Stadium in Puyallup.  The 1A and 2B games are set for Harry Lang Stadium in Lakewood.  The 4A and 1B games will be at Mount Tahoma Stadium in Tacoma.

The doubleheaders are scheduled for noon and 4:00 kickoffs.
