SEATTLE (AP) — The Seattle Mariners head into the second half of the season facing a lot of questions after an inconsistent first half. Seattle’s schedule makes the first two weeks after the All-Star break critical in determining where the Mariners go. After a six-game road trip, the Mariners return home for 10 games against both New York teams and Boston.

Trying to define who the Mariners are heading into the second half of the season is a challenge for General Manager Jerry Dipoto. The Major League Baseball trade deadline is July 31st.

Seattle (43-47) opens the second-half of the season Friday in Chicago versus the White Sox. You can hear the game on KPUG (1170AM & 97.9FM) beginning at 4:00pm.
