White Rock-South Surrey run at Little League World Series ends

The White Rock-South Surrey baseball team was eliminated from the Little League World Series Thursday in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The Canadian representatives fell 6-to-2 to Reynosa, Mexico.

Andre Garza and Samuel Juarez struck out 12 batters to lead the way for Mexico. Jorge Garcia and Jorge Lambarria provided the offensive punch with home runs. Mexico moves on to the International Championship game versus Japan on Saturday.

Canada managed just 5 hits, highlighted by Robert Orr’s third inning home run. White Rock-South Surrey wraps up their trip to the Little League World Series with a 2-and-2 record.
