White Rock-South Surrey defeats Emilia 12-2 in 4 innings

The White Rock-South Surrey Little League team from White Rock, British Columbia beat the European-African champions Emilia out of Italy at the Little League World Series Thursday afternoon. The final score was 12-2 in 4 innings due to the mercy rule. The rout was the largest win in Canadian Little League history.

Friday’s games will feature some more local flavor. Walla Walla Valley is representing the Northwest Region. They will play the West Region champs, Santa Margarita out of California at 1:00pm pacific.
