Whatcom County prep baseball playoff action on Saturday

In the first round of the Bi-District 1/2 1A prep baseball tournament Nooksack Valley beat  Overlake/BearCreek 2-0, and  South Whidbey beat Kings 11-0.

In the second round, Cedar Park Christian beat Nooksack Valley 4-3, Lynden Christian over Overlake/BearCreek 3-1, University Prep. bested South Whidbey 4-2, and Meridian over Kings 10-0. .

The third round had Cedar Park Christian over Lynden Christian 6-5 and University Prep. beat Meridian 6-4. Cedar Park Christian will play University Prep. at Joe Martin Field on May 12 for the Championship.

In the District 1/2 2A Baseball Tournament Lynden beat Mountlake Terrace 2-1, Burlington-Edison over Sedro-Woolley 10-3, Sehome over Archbishop Murphy 7-5, and Anacortes beat Liberty 13-3.

Lynden will play Burlington-Edison, and Sehome will play Anacortes in semifinal games on May 12th.
