In a battle of the halves, the Ferndale Golden Eagles made a come from behind run in the 4th quarter to beat the Lynden Lions 19-16 on Friday night.

Lynden started things off in the 1st with a Brock Heppner 12 yd Quarterback keeper to open the game 6-0. Eric Martin-Mann took it in for the Lions from the 15 in the 2nd, to lead the lions to a 13-0 halftime lead.

Ferndale took over in the 4th. Reid Benson caught 2 touchdown passes of 26 and 32 yards. A last second 3yd td catch by Gader Fox offset an improbable Lynden field goal by Marco Samacovich to give Ferndale the 3 point victory.

Ferndale is now 2-0 and Lynden is 1-1.
