The Seattle Seahawks put on quite a display in their first preseason game of the year, whipping the Los Angeles Chargers 48-to-17 on the road last Friday. What will they do tonight at home for an encore?

Seattle squares off with the Minnesota Vikings at CenturyLink in a game that will feature a bit more playing time for the first-team offense and defense than last week. Eddie Lacy is expected to start at running back for Seattle after getting just 4 touches versus the Chargers.

Seattle will not have Pro Bowl linebacker K.J. Wright. He has been out all week continuing to get treatment on a sore knee. Pete Carroll says Wright is expected back with the team Monday.

The biggest news may come off the field. What will Seahawks defensive lineman Michael Bennett do during the national anthem?

Bennett sat during the anthem last week in Carson, California. He said he will continue to sit this season to protest social injustice and segregation. Seahawks Earlier this week, coach Pete Carroll said Carroll said he met with Bennett on a couple of occasions since the Charger game.

“It’s easy for me to support him in his issues, Said Carroll.  “But I think we should all be standing up when we’re playing the national anthem.”

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00pm at the Clink. Pregame coverage begins at 5:00pm on KBAY 930AM & 98.9FM in Bellingham.
