Week 5 of the high school football season

A pair of radio games highlight the high school football schedule in Whatcom County Friday night. Ferndale hosts Oak Harbor on KPUG while 2nd-ranked Mount Baker is home against Meridian on KGMI. Both games have 6:35 pre-game shows and 7:00 kickoffs.

Elsewhere Friday night Lynden Christian goes to Nooksack Valley, Lynden hosts Lakewood, Blaine visits Archbishop Murphy, Squalicum is home against Meadowdale, Sehome is at Mountlake Terrace and Saturday Bellingham hosts Evergreen at 5:00.

Thursday night Lummi beat Darrington 56-46.
