Week 2 of the H-S football season

Whatcom County’s biggest high school football rivalry gets renewed Friday night as the Ferndale Golden Eagles host the Lynden Lions.  It’s a 6:35 pre-game show and a 7:00 kickoff on KPUG and KPUG1170.com.

The other radio game has Bellingham going to Lakewood on AM790 KGMI.  That one also has a 6:35 pre-game start.

Elsewhere Friday night Mount Baker hosts Sehome, Squalicum goes to Arlington, Nooksack Valley visits Granite Falls, Blaine is home against Lord Tweedsmuir BC and Lummi is at La Conner.  Saturday afternoon Meridian plays defending state champion Colville at the Peshashtin Sports Complex in Chelan County.

Lynden Christian’s Saturday game against Neah Bay has been cancelled.
