Six area soccer teams had playoff games Tuesday

In the high school boys soccer district playoffs Tuesday Meridian beat Northwest 3-2.  The Trojans now have a winner-to-state game against University Prep Saturday at 1:00 at Sammamish High School.  Lynden Christian got eliminated by Seattle Academy 5-0.

In Class 2A Sehome beat Archbishop Murphy 3-0 and Bellingham defeated Sammamish 4-0.  Bellingham and Sehome now play for the district championship Saturday at 6:00 at Civic Stadium.  Lynden lives on as they beat Cedarcrest 1-0.  The Lions now play Archbishop Murphy in a loser-out game Thursday night.

In Class 3A Squalicum lost to Snohomish 1-0.  The Strom now have a loser-out game against Marysville-Pilchuck Thursday night at 7:00 at Shoreline Stadium.
