Several Whatcom County teams live on in state prep playoffs

The Sehome High School baseball and boys soccer teams are both in the state semifinals after weekend wins.  The Mariner baseball team will play the Fife Trojans Friday at 4:00 at County Stadium in Yakima.  The soccer team will play Toppenish at Sunset Chev Stadium in Sumner Friday at 6.

In girls softball Lynden, Sehome, Lynden Christian and Mount Baker have advanced to state tournament play beginning Friday.
