County teams find out regional match-ups

Seven Whatcom County teams are moving on to regionals taking place Friday and Saturday. On the boys side, the Mount Baker Mounatineers will battle Naches Valley in a loser out game Friday at Mount Vernon High School at 6pm.

Lynden Christian will take on Newport Saturday at Mount Vernon High School with a 2pm tip-off. Lynden will face off against the W F West Bearcats Saturday at Mount Vernon High School with a 6pm tip-off.

On the girls side, the Lynden Lions face off against W F West in a 2A regional battle Friday at Tumwater High School at 6pm. Nooksack Valley takes on Port Townsend in a loser out game Friday at Mount Vernon High School with an 8pm tip-off. Lynden Christian faces off against Meridian in a Whatcom County showdown at Mount Vernon High School Saturday at noon.
