Seahawks select Aztecs running back at number 27

The Seattle Seahawks took San Diego State running back Rashaad Penny with the 27th pick in the first round of the NFL Draft Thursday night.  Penny led the nation in rushing in 2017 with 2248 yards.  He scored 23 touchdowns.

The Seahawks came into the night with the 18th pick in the draft but made a trade with Green Bay to move down.  The Hawks added a third-round pick  at #76 in the deal.
