Seattle Seahawks defensive end Frank Clark hurt his wrist in Friday’s 26-13 preseason win over Kansas City. On Monday, coach Pete Carroll said Clark had “a wrist that’s bothering him” and that the 3rd-year player out of Michigan was scheduled to be evaluated by a specialist.
Clark played in the first half of Friday’s game, making one tackle. He did not practice Monday.
Carroll also said receiver Tyler Lockett, guard Luke Joeckel, linebacker Michael Wilhoite and defensive ends Michael Bennett and Cliff Avril were all away from the team for Regenokine anti-inflammatory treatment. It’s the same procedure that linebackers K.J. Wright and D.J. Alexander had recently.
According to Seahawks.com, Carroll said, “They’ve entered the circle and they’ll be gone this week to do their stuff, then they’ll meet us in Oakland… We’re doing it to make sure that they’re strong going into the start of the season.”
Seattle plays at Oakland Thursday with a 7:00pm schedule kickoff on KPUG.
