Saturday’s Whatcom County high school baseball district championships results

In the Bi-District 1/2 1A Baseball Tournament, played Saturday, Meridian beat Nooksack Valley 4-0 and then Lynden Christian 2-1 to place 3rd in the district and move on to the State Tournament.

The District 1/2 2A Baseball Tournament, also played Saturday, saw Sehome lose to Burlington-Edison 6-5 in the Championship game, coming in 2nd in the district and moving on to State. Lynden lost to Liberty 4-3 in a loser out game.
