Seahawk quarterback Russell Wilson was named the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year at the Super Bowl in Tampa over the weekend. The award goes to the player who not only excels on the field but “goes above and beyond for those in need” off the field. The award is named in honor the late Chicago Bears running back.
Wilson watched the Super Bowl from Commissioner Roger Goodell’s private box.
