Lynden Christian High School boys basketball coach Roger DeBoer has been let go as coach of the Lyncs.  DeBoer posted the following message on his Twitter feed Thursday night, “After 11 wonderful seasons it is with great sadness that I share with you the LCHS administration has determined to let me go.  It is not what I had planned but it is what God has planned.  Thank you to my assistants and former players, it has all been for Him.  Love you all.”

DeBoer is already in the state Coaches Hall of Fame.  He led Lynden Christian to two state championships and won another in his previous stop at Seattle Christian.

DeBoer just led his Lyncs to the state championship game in Yakima a month ago losing in overtime to King’s.
